A logo is not your brand, nor is it your identity. Logo design, identity design and branding all have different roles, that together, form a perceived image for a business or product. To explore this market deeply, the Istituto Europeo di Design, in Milan, offers an opportunity to win a scholarship in Master in Brand Design that starts in November 2012, part of the competition We Like Talents.
This competition is open to international students. IED rewards to the creative talents of young people aged under 27 years old. If you have an undergraduate degree in design and graphic disciplines (graphic design, industrial design, architecture, fine arts) this is a great opportunity to update your career. In order to apply, the candidate must have a Degree (3 or 5 years) or 3 years Diplomas from university-level schools or consistent professional experience in the Master Course field. Final Year students are accepted as well provided that they get the degree within the end of the Master Course.
The program, which is in English , has the purpose to train a brand identity designer with a strong international culture by proposing an experimental brand-lab in partnership with leading Italian and international communications agencies.
The Master in Brand Design is organized into two parts. The first aims at establishing a cultural background on the brand, its meaning, its manifestations. Brand management and aesthetics will be the main topics. The second one involves the student in projects conducted in partnership with International consulting firms and Italian top ranked design studios.

Please be informed that all programs in Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabanci University accepts applications from competent students regardless of their science and engineering background two times in a year for February and September entry. For September entry (Fall Term), the applications to FENS graduate programs will end on the 30th of May, 2012. Successful applicants are funded by two means: (i) full scholarship including both research stipend and tuition waiver, (ii) research fellowship funded by a project with tuition waiver. Scholarship Description:
The Master of Science program in Multimedia Signal Processing and Telecommunication Networks (Faculty of Engineering, University of Genoa, Italy) is offering scholarships for students, who possess a B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) and are interested in pursuing their studies in the ICT field.
The purpose of the program is to offer advanced education on the topics of signal, image, video, and multimedia processing, telecommunication systems, satellite systems, networking, telematics, antenna design, and applied electromagnetics. Expertise in both methodological-scientific bases and advanced design is thoroughly addressed to educate high-level ICT professionals in the framework of the Telecommunications Engineering disciplines.
Faculty members teaching in the program are actively involved in scientific and applied research projects funded by the European Union, the European Space Agency, the Italian Space Agency, and many other national and international institutions and private enterprises. Thanks to this ongoing research activity, the courses offered in the program are kept systematically up to date with the latest scientific and technological developments.
Graduates from the M.Sc. program can access professional opportunities in all companies needing ICT expertise for development, deployment, production, or management purposes. Moreover, the high-level scientific and technological background offered by the program allows graduates to pursue further their education in the ICT area, apply to doctoral and 2nd-level master positions, and be strong candidates in the related ranking procedures.
The program has a 2-year duration, consists of 120 ECTS, and will be concluded with the defense of a M.Sc. thesis. Next academic year classes will start in the second half of September 2012.
Students, who enroll in the program and are younger than 35 years old, can apply to scholarships and to other benefits and services, including accommodation. Scholarship values range between approximately 3800 and 4800 € (including restaurant and accommodation services). Rankings for students enrolling in the first year of the M.Sc. program depend on yearly revenues. Rankings for students enrolling in the second year depend on the number of passed exams (minimum 30 ECTS), the related grades, and the yearly revenues. Additional grants up to 3000 € per year will also be given on a competitive basis.

Scholarship Description:
Malaysian International Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies provides opportunities for students from countries with diplomatic relations and bilateral cooperation with Malaysia to pursue advanced academic study in Malaysia. Not be more than 45 years of age during application.
Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at Bachelor Degree Level for Masters Degree applicants and for PhD candidates must possess CGPA 3.5/4.0 or very good result at Masters degree level in a similar field of intended PhD study. In addition, for post-doctoral programme, the selection will be evaluated based on the number of books produced, refereed/non refereed journals, portfolio and patent copyright. The Post-Doctoral candidate must have excellent reputation in research and possesses knowledge related to the research to be carried out.
Took one of the following English Language Proficiency Test not more than two years before the date of application. The list of tests and minimum scores required:
- IELTS Academic Test with a score of at least 6.5; or
- TOEFL paper-based test with a score of at least 580 or computer-based test with a score of at least 230 or internet-based test with a score at least 92.
In excellent health condition and certified by a Certified Doctor/Medical Professional. The cost of medical examination is to be borne by the applicants
Wrote a proposal that is relevant to the needs and interests of Malaysia (research-based programme only)
Has applied for and gained admission to postgraduate and post-doctoral studies in Malaysia (conditional letters of offer will be accepted at the time of application or has a confirmation of acceptance or affiliation with the universities in Malaysia).

STEP 1
REGISTER your Passport Number or National Identication Number, password and email address.
LOGIN to online application form and fill in all section completely.
Please ensure all informations are correct before you print the application and logout.
STEP 2
Please attach printed application form together with the following documents:
A certified copy of current passport showing evidence of citizenship.
A certified copy of academic transcript, testimonials and/or references relating to the relevant study, co-curriculum activities, achievements.
A clear and precise study or research plan
A certified copy of English Language proficiency certificate (Test of English as a Foreign Language/TOEFL or International English Language Testing Service/IELTS)

Admission letter from Malaysian University.
Two letters of recommendation from two (2) people who can act as referees to support your application. [download ]
You are required to complete the two Letters of Recommendation from two referees, Endorsement Form and Medical Report. Please bring printed ONLINE application form and required documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant agency responsible for the MIS scholarship in your country to get the endorsement.
STEP 3
Scan all documents stated above in PDF format and LOGIN to MIS Online Application.
You are required to attach the documents and click SUBMIT button to submit the application. You will see the notification message when the process is done. All the application is fully online. No hard copy is required. Bring the hard copy of application form and original certificate during the interview session.
